Astro Quiz 26: ISS Size?
Question #26 – How big is the International Space Station?
Answer:
The height of the International Space Station (ISS) is 66 feet (20 meters). The station is 239 feet (72.8 meters) long and 356 feet (108.5 meters) wide. That is one foot shorter than the length of a football field, including the end zones!
This page has a photo taken by Adirondack Sky Center board member Tim Connolly that shows ISS has it moved across the face of the Sun. You can find the latest space station news and images at NASA's International Space Station Mission page.
