Astro Quiz 9: Sun's Age

Question #9 – How old is the Sun?

Answer: Scientists believe the Sun, planets, most moons and asteroids were all formed during the same period about 4.6 billion years ago. By carbon dating the age of meteorites, we can get a good approximation of the age of the Sun.
