Free Public Friday Night Observing
(formerly known as Friday Night Stargazing)
The Adirondack Sky Center & Observatory is excited to announce that we are welcoming visitors back to the Roll Off Roof Observatory during the summer of 2021 for public events! All programs start at 9:30 p.m. (weather permitting)
The Free Public Night Sky Observing Programs will no longer be limited to clear Friday nights alone.
Be sure to look for these programs on other clear nights the Roll Off Roof Observatory, astronomers, and volunteers are available. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for the opening portion of the program as well as the laser guided tour of the night sky.
