Kids in Space
Young Artists Contest

The Adirondack Sky Center and Observatory partnering with Tupper Arts has an awesome opportunity for young artists to showcase their creative skills with a space theme!

All elementary school aged children are invited to participate in this contest. Please sign your work with your first name and age only.

Subjects:

1. A realistic drawing or painting of a planet, moon, solar system, comet or any other celestial object. Please tell us what your drawing represents.
2. A drawing or painting of an exoplanet with alien life forms and alien plant life, if any. Give a brief description of the planet and why the life forms look the way they do. All participants will receive a free gift from the Sky Center gift shop when it reopens. We’ll let you know when that is as soon as we do.

Submit a picture of your artwork to info@adirondackskycenter.org or mail to P.O. Box 1332, Tupper Lake, NY 12986 by May 8, 2020.

All winning artwork will be displayed on our website, on Facebook and Tupper Arts will arrange a special gallery exhibition in the future.
